Demo version
Without the license key, Trikker behaves like a demo version with the following limitations:
- You can draw a maximum of 5 circuits on the single-line diagram;
- You can draw a maximum of 1 page on the situation plan;
- A watermark will be printed on all pages.
Upon purchasing a license, you will receive an activation file that will remove these limitations.
System requirements
Trikker runs on Windows. Every PC or tablet that runs Windows can run Trikker: there are no separate processor or hardware requirements, and a Windows tablet is as suitable as a desktop.
Activation runs through our licence server, so an internet connection is needed at that moment: that is how the licence is tied to this computer. After that Trikker works offline for a while, and it checks the licence with our server again now and then.
One licence works on one PC. Are you switching computers? Then enter your licence code on the new PC. Is the code still in use on another device, then it has to be unlinked there first; the helpdesk walks you through that.
Two ways to install
The web installer is a small file that fetches what it needs while installing. On a normal internet connection that is the fastest route.
The offline version is a ZIP file with everything in it. Choose that one when the PC has no internet connection, or when a firewall blocks the web installer. You can put the file on a USB stick and install from there.
After installing
Trikker starts as the demo version, so you can draw straight away. Enter your licence code under the Extra tab and the demo limits disappear.
With the demo version you draw a complete single-line diagram up to five circuits and one page of the situation plan, with the same symbol library as the paid version. The print carries a watermark.
Changed your address or company details in the customer portal? Under the Extra tab you can fetch them from our licence server again. The title block of your drawings then shows the new details, without uploading a file.
